Yelawolf is a breath of fresh-air within Hip-Hop and just what lifelong fans of Shady Records have been waiting for. This is something I hope to see as we near the release of ‘Love Story’ (not to forget the ‘Shady XV’ album due next month!). My one personal bone to pick with ‘Till It’s Gone’ is I still don’t feel we have witnessed Yelawolf jump into ‘Trunk Muzik’ mode (on a solo effort) since his Shady 2.0 reign began. The country sounding instrumental (produced by WLPWR) shows Yelawolf aims to stay true to his country roots, something we can expect to reflect within the album. Im not the table you can come and lay your cup down on, now Im not the shoulder for a bag.

His use of words and capability to switch from a jagged edge flow to a harmony you’d even catch your Pop Star loving girlfriend humming along to. (paroles de la chanson Till Its Gone YELAWOLF) MENU. ‘Till It’s Gone’ reminds me as to why I found Yelawolf’s music so appealing in the first place. The one that carried a heavy load Im not the road that you take when you looking for a short cut, uh I aint the stepping stone to be stepping on I aint nobodies crutch I aint the money man, with your money, man You aint looking at me Im not the cheap one, looking at me son You aint looking at. Over the course of 2014, Yelawolf has started to creep back into the limelight in preparation for his second studio album ‘Love Story’, we have been teased with the commercial attempt ‘Honey Brown’ and the fan favourite ‘Box Chevy V’, but here comes the first single ‘Till It’s Gone’… Im not the table you can come and lay your cup down on, now Im not the shoulder for a bag. Yet Yela continued to please fans and critics alike with a number of solo mixtapes (Trunk Muzik Returns) and collaborative efforts (Psycho White with Travis Barker, Black Fall with DJ Paul) to feed the underground Hip-Hop scene. He also performed an acoustic version alongside Travis Barker, Bones Owens and DJ Klever.Rumors and speculation flooded the Net that Yelawolf was frustrated with Shady and their lack of enthusiasm to drop his material. This track featured on the Sons of Anarchy episode “ Toil and Till,” and the CAMPFIRE remix featured on the Official Call of Duty: Black Ops III – Multiplayer Reveal Trailer. Its music video was shot during May 2014 in the Bayou. Love Story‘ third single also acted as the bonus track for the compilation album Shady XV. What do you do when you’ve got two bucks in your bank account and barely enough change to buy something off the McD’s dollar menu – then you run across an acquaintance now destitute in the street? He has less than you by far, so how can you justify not sharing a bit of what you have? But then where do you draw the line between your obligations to others and your own responsibilities? This is the moral conundrum he ponders. However, this song also hits at a broader aspect of the human condition. Yelawolf details his grappling with fame and the inherent frustration associated with it, and how his pre-success associates now feel entitled. Hit the bucket, it was a rocket all a sudden When you come around and tellin' me I changed I walk through the fire, I give love when it's equalĭon't tell me not to complain about my money and fame I'm not the gold watch, and the new truck Not the wheel on the wagon you wanna break I'm not a bus ride you can hop inside, and just roll away clean
